Kickoff time is set for Eastern Illinois football’s trip to play the Indiana Hoosiers this fall.
EIU will play Indiana at 2:30 p.m. central on Big Ten Network, which on Thursday released kickoff times for several of its early-season games.
The Sept. 7 meeting at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington will be the first meeting between the two programs and the seventh time EIU will face a Big Ten opponent. The last was a 2015 trip to Northwestern.

EIU’s Aug. 29 season opener at Chattanooga kicks off at 6 p.m. and its Sept. 21 road game at Indiana State is a noon start. The kickoff time for the Sept. 14 home opener, the Mid-America Classic vs. Illinois State, has not yet been announced.
Five of EIU’s seven Ohio Valley Conference games have already announced start times: Oct. 5 at Murray State (1 p.m.), Oct. 12 vs. Jacksonville State (12 p.m.), Oct. 19 at UT-Martin (2 p.m.), Oct. 26 homecoming vs. Eastern Kentucky (2 p.m.), Nov. 16 vs. SEMO (12 p.m.), Nov. 23 at Austin Peay (2 p.m.)
Kickoff times for the Sept. 28 home game vs. Tennessee Tech and the Nov. 9 road game at Tennessee State will be announced at a later date.
