Neoga downs Cumberland in OT
TOLEDO — It took an overtime period, but Neoga defeated Cumberland 56-54 in a close non-conference game Friday.
The Pirates took a 13-12 lead in the first quarter, but the Indians came back to lead 26-24 at the half. Neoga outscored Cumberland 13-11 in the third quarter to lead 39-35, but Cumberland out-scored in the Indians 16-12 in the final period of regulation play to tie the game at 51-51 before Neoga won in overtime.
Four Indians scored in double digits: Trevor Roy had 15 points, Mitchell Cornell got 12 while Levi Peters and Reese Johnson each added 10 points.
Brennyn Cutts led the Pirates with 19 points. Connor Butler also broke into double figures with 14 points.
Cumberland falls to 10-10 and hosts St. Elmo Brownstown for another non-conference game Tuesday.
Neoga improves to 9-7. The Indians’ game at Windsor scheduled Saturday is postponed and Neoga travels to Farina to face National Trail Conference foe South Central on Tuesday.
Casey-Westfield defeats Marshall
MARSHALL — Casey-Westfield defeated Marshall 57-46.
Will Hosselton led Casey-Westfield with 16 points and 3 steals. Ethan Gilbert had 9 rebounds for Casey-Westfield. Marcus Downs and Dawson Dallape had 3 assists.
This win put Casey-Westfield to a 17-2 record.
Casey-Westfield will be playing Teutopolis in the Effingham St. Anthony Shootout on Tuesday.
Arcola loses to Judah Christian
CHAMPAIGN — Arcola loses to Judah Christian 62-30.
Arcola was led by Myles Roberts with 7 points.
This loss puts Arcola to a 5-15 record.
Arcola will be playing Sangamon Valley on Tuesday.
WSS defeats Ramsey in overtime
WINDSOR—WSS defeated Ramsey 56-42.
WSS put up a 14 point difference in overtime.
WSS was led by Adam Burton with 16 points.
This win puts WSS with a 13-6 record.
The WSS game at Windsor against Neoga scheduled on Saturday has been postponed due to inclement weather. WSS travels to Louisville for a National Trail Conference game against North Clay on Tuesday.
Tri-County defeats A-L-A-H
ARTHUR—Tri-County defeated Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond 66-58 Friday in an exciting Little Okaw Valley Conference non-division game.
The Titans grabbed a 17-15 lead in the first quarter, but the Knights outscored Tri-County 17-8 in the second period to lead 32-25 at halftime. The Titans came back to life in the third quarter, outscoring A-L-A-H 19-5 for a 44-37 lead, and went on for the win.
Mason Hutchinson led the Titans with 21 points. Mitch Pollock and Blake Lee also scored in double figures with 19 and 15 points, respectively.
Three Knights scored in double digits: Austin Romine led the team with 21 points, Adam Day got 19 and Austin Plank had 16.
A-L-A-H is now 1-14 and plays a LOVC Northwest division game Tuesday at Argenta-Oreana.
Tri-County improves to 12-8 and hosts Dieterich for a non-conference game at Kansas next Friday.
Sullivan drops conference game
WARRENSBURG -- Sullivan lost a Central Illinois Conference game to Warrensburg-Latham 62-39 Friday.

The Redskins fell to 3-14 overall and 0-2 in the CIC and are to play host to Meridian Tuesday in another conference game.
DECATUR—Arthur Okaw Christian lost to Decatur LSA 60-45 Friday in a non-conference game.
AOC jumped out to a 19-9 lead in the first quarter, but Decatur outscored the Conquering Riders 17-5 in the second period to take a 26-24 lead at the half.
Sean Mast led AOC with 15 points and Ian Lowry also scored in double figures with 10 points.
AOC falls to 11-7 and hosts Judah Christian for an East Central Illinois Conference game Tuesday.

DANVILLE — Tri-County lost to Danville Schlarman 81-48.
Tri-County was led by Tayler Berry with 17 points. Harley Barry had 4 assists and 4 steals for Tri-County. Grace Burnside had 5 rebounds and 4 steals for Tri-County.
This loss puts Tri-County to a 17-4 record.
Tri-County is the number one seed in the LOVC-SE Tournament and plays the winner of Monday's Cumberland and Martinsville game at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Riggleman scores 1000th point for Casey-Westfield
CASEY--Jae Lynn Riggleman scored her 1,000th point for Casey-Westfield in Thursday's Little Illini Conference Tournament during the Lady Warriors' 57-42 win over Newton.
A-L-A-H defeats Blue Ridge
FARMER CITY — A-L-A-H defeated Blue Ridge 55-18.
Jolynn Barbee led A-L-A-H with 11 points. Addi Tinkle, Mackenzi Bowles, and Marissa Herschberger all had 6 rebounds for A-L-A-H. Herschberger had 7 assists and 7 steals for A-L-A-H.
This win put A-L-A-H to a 12-8 overall record, and a 2-0 conference record.
A-L-A-H improves to 12-8 and is the number two seed in the Little Okaw Valley Conference Northwest Division tournament. The Hatchets play the number seven seeded Decatur LSA at 5 p.m. Monday in Bethany.
AOC defeats CH/BC
COWDEN—Arthur Okaw Christian defeated Cowden-Herrick/Beecher-City 68-46.
AOC was led by Amanda Franklin with 36 points. Amanda Franklin had 10 rebounds for AOC.
This win improved AOC 15-6 for the season.
AOC will be playing Warrensburg-Latham on Monday.
Okaw Valley defeats Decatur LSA
BETHANY — Okaw Valley beat Decatur LSA 68-33 Thursday in a Little Okaw Valley Conference Northwest division game.
Madison Vogel led the Lady Timberwolves with 24 points. Bella Benning and Mia Harris also scored in double figures with 15 and 13 points, respectively.
Okaw Valley improves to 5-17 overall, 2-0 in the conference, and hosts the LOVC-NW Tournament starting Monday. The Lady Timberwolves are the number three seed and play Argenta-Oreana, the number six seed, at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
Tri-County beats Martinsville
MARTINSVILLE — Tri-County defeated Martinsville 70-23 Thursday in its Little Okaw Valley Conference Southeast division opener.
Kiersten Price-Wilson led the Lady Titans with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Tayler Barry also broke into double digits with 14 points. Harley Barry got 10 steals and Bella Dudley had four assists.
Lindsay Higgins led the Lady Bluestreaks with seven points.
