MOUNT ZION -- Mattoon' freshman Mallory Ramage scored 21 of her game-high 33 points in the second half and helped the Green Wave to a 55-45 Apollo Conference win over Mount Zion Thursday. 

The 33 points, which included five three-pointers is a career-high for Ramage. Delainey Bryant was also in double digits with 10 points, including eight in the third quarter. 

The Green Wave trailed 15-12 after the first quarter and 26-20 at the half before outscoring the Lady Braves 20-7 in third to lead 40-33. 

Neither team shot free throws well as Mattoon was 8-of-15 and the Lady Braves were 5-of-11. 

Mattoon, 12-7 overall and 2-3 in the conference,  is to travel to Lincoln Monday for another Apollo game.
