Charleston softball seniors Ramsey Armstrong, Kennedy Fellers, Olivia Hiltebeitel and Emily Price can add an accomplishment to an already distinguished high school career.
They're all going to play beyond college.
They signed letters of intent Tuesday afternoon at a ceremony at Charleston High School. Armstrong signed with Illinois-Springfield, Fellers with Lincoln Land Community College, Hiltebeitel with John A. Logan College and Price with Missouri-St. Louis. Armstrong will officially sign on Nov. 13.
"I'm so excited that they are able to continue to do what they want to do and I hope it lasts as long as they want it to last," said Charleston coach Blain Mayhall, who has coached them since middle school.

The foursome decided to do a shared ceremony rather than individual ones.
"One of the highlights of my coaching career, in all the sports I've coached," Mayhall said. "It means a lot to me because we always talk about being in it together."
Armstrong (outfield), Fellers (infield), Hiltebeitel (catcher) and Price (left-handed pitcher) were key pieces of Charleston's two straight 30-win seasons and trips to sectional finals. Price led Charleston with 20 wins on the mound last spring, while Armstrong hit a team-best 12 home runs.
