Moultrie-Douglas Juniors blow past Paris
SULLIVAN — With the score tied at 2-2 going into the third inning, Moultrie-Douglas broke the game open against Paris with a four-run third inning. Mo-Do added five runs in the fifth and one more in the eighth for a 12-2 win over Paris. Mo-Do held Paris to three hits and improved to 7-12 on the season.
Dallas Sisk pitched 3 2/3 innings in relief to get the win, didn't allow a hit and struck out six. Logan Brough struck out three in two innings and Jake Hollingsworth struck out five in two innings.
Tim Lawyer was 2-for-4 with a run and three RBIs; Andrew Rogers was 2-for-5 with two runs and two RBIs; Ian Hill scored twice and had two RBIs; Cody Miller was 2-for-5 with a double and three runs; Sisk was 3-for-4 with a double and two runs; and Kanin Elder was 2-for-4 with a double, a run and an RBI.
