As President of Bob Oetting & Associates, Bob Oetting has provided quality insurance services to the Charleston community for over 35 years. Bob enjoys working with both businesses and individuals, using a full range of insurance options to help meet the needs of each individual client.

Jeff Oetting
Vice-President

Jeff Oetting, Vice-President of Bob Oetting & Associates has been helping families plan for their futures for the past 23 years. Jeff holds an MBA from Eastern Illinois University. In addition to working with his clients to help develop insurance strategies tailored to individuals and families, Jeff is also an instructor in the College of Business at Eastern Illinois University. He is a Certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Risk Manager.

Karen Walker
Personal Lines Account Manager

Karen began her career with Bob Oetting & Associates when her daughter was just a year old. Now she is grown with children of her own! Her son had just started Kindergarten at the time and has now graduated from Eastern Illinois University and is employed at a bank in Toledo.
With 23 years of personal lines experience, Karen takes pride in providing outstanding customer service. She lives by the agency motto, “Treat customers like you would like to be treated.”
Karen lives in Greenup where she spends her time spoiling her two granddaughters.

Mary Ann Coleman
Health & Disability Account Manager

Mary Ann began working at Bob Oetting & Associates in August 2005. She is the Individual and Group Health, Medicar, Long-Term Care, and Disability representative.

Brenda Farrier
Administrative Assistant

Brenda has been an Administrative Assistant and the friendly first face you see at Bob Oetting & Associates for four years. She assists clients with policy service and helps the office run more smoothly.
Brenda grew up in Mattoon, IL. She married Scott Farrier in 1980 and they have two sons and a daughter in law. Brenda loves her pets and her favorite activity is spending time with her wonderful family.

Dan Gabel
Commercial Lines & Farm Account Manager

Dan is the Commercial Lines and Farm Manager at Bob Oetting & Associates. He enjoys helping local businesses and farmers best manage their risk management programs. Dan was born and raised in Greenup. He is a huge fan of the Bears, Cubs, and Illini. He graduated from the University of Illinois School of Business and has been with Bob Oetting & Associates since 2006.
Dan lives in Mattoon with his wife and young son. When he isn’t chasing around a toddler, he enjoys playing golf.

Sue Krukenberg
Life Account Manager

Sue has been with Bob Oetting & Associates since 1982, getting to know clients on a personal basis and providing individualized services. Sue is licensed for all lines of insurance.
