Senior Olivia Bell improved to 2-0 in singles with a 6-0, 6-3 win over Maddy Easton on court five. Douglas also secured a straight set win at No. 6 singles to move to 2-0 this fall. However, the Lady Blues won two of their three singles matches in the third-set super tiebreakers to propel them ahead.
The Titans return home for the beginning of College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin play Saturday, Sept. 12 against Augustana College. Action is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Evergreen Racquet Club.
