DECATUR, IL – The Macon County Health Department (MCHD) is hosting back-to-school events starting July 21 through October 13. All Macon County students are welcome to attend and will have access to age- and grade-appropriate immunizations, physicals, lead testing, and dental screenings on select dates. These events are walk-in only, on a first-come, first-served basis. Below is a list of upcoming events and the services provided at each event.

Time: 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. (physicals)
Time: 8:30–11:30 a.m. and 1:00–3:30 p.m. (immunizations and lead testing)
August 1
Services available: physicals, car seat checks, lead testing, immunizations, dental screening, backpacks, resource fair, and balloon animals
Services available: physicals, immunizations, lead testing, dental screenings, and blood drive
Time: 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. (physicals)
Time: 8:30–11:30 a.m. and 1:00–3:30 p.m. (immunizations, lead testing, and dental screenings)
Time: 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. (blood drive)
August 13 and October 6
Services available: physicals, immunizations, and lead testing
